Free admission to Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts "Pavilion for Peace" until January 15

"The opening of the Michal and Renata Hornstein's Pavilion for Peace signals the start of Montreal’s 375th anniversary celebrations"!

This phenomenal Art exhibit features a huge collection of about 750 works from the Old Masters to contemporary artists via a significant donation by Michal and Renata Hornstein.

"Discover art through the ages by way of 750 works, from the Middle Ages to today.

The Museum 's collection includes works by "Mantegna, Veronese, Tintoretto, El Greco, Brueghel, Ribera, Snyders, Rembrandt, Poussin, Tiepolo, Gainsborough, Corot, Daumier, Tissot, Monet, Rodin, Matisse, Dix, Miró, Picasso, Giacometti, Hoffmann, Beuys, Soulages, Richter, Basquiat…as well as some that were part of Ben Weider’s Napoleon collection.

The only collection of its kind in Quebec and the second largest in Canada, it has been enhanced by some outstanding loans from private collections."
