The Honoré Mercier Bridge will be "open" in both directions this weekend. BUT - The closures on Highway 20, in both directions, will impede drivers trying to head toward Montreal's downtown core for the St Patrick's Day parade. Ramps of the Turcot and Ville Saint-Pierre interchanges will be closed this weekend.
The Champlain bridge drive and access to Montreal will be hampered due to a partial closure of the Bonaventure Expressway.
The Victoria Bridge will be closed toward Montreal, yet open towards the South Shore. Highway 15. will also have detours and exit closures.
Many street closures will begin at 7 a.m. in the downtown core so we strongly suggest the use of public transport if headed to the parade.
