The Chateauguay River : Still On Flood Watch

Given the slight reduction in water levels of the Chateauguay River and Lake St Louis over the last couple of days, the floodwatch by Chateauguay's Emergency Services shall remain in effect according to local city hall authorities.

As you are likely already aware, the city of Chateauguay has built some dikes along a few areas of concern.

1) Salaberry North between Stanton Ouest and Gilmour streets

2) Boat ramp and La Sauvagine bridge

3) Ile St-Bernard bridge and rue Vinet Est

More rain is expected over the weekend, so local water levels could still be affected and rise.
