Congratulations to our newly elected incumbent MP - Liberal candidate Brenda Shanahan in Federal Electoral District CHÂTEAUGUAY-LACOLLE.
She defeated NDP candidate and Chateauguay-Saint-Constant MP Syvain Chicoine who had served a four year term.
Philippe St-Pierre (PC),Sophie Stanké (BQ),Jency Mercier (Green),and Linda Sullivan (L Marx) were also candidates in the riding.
Ms Shanahan garnered 20 244 votes, or 39,05 % of the tally.
