The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke sends Notification of Boycott to Chateauguay Business Owners.


Due to the ongoing Highway 30 land issue,The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has began sending letters directly to local Chateauguay businesses informing them that they will be ceasing the purchase of their Goods and Services. The MCK had already announced that they would begin such a boycott on August 13th.

They are urging Chateauguay local businesses / entrepreneurs to address this issue with our governments and the Mayoress - in order to resume business as quickly as possible. They state that the boycott will be lifted once the highway 30 related lawsuit has been withdrawn.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke also stated in the letter that they spend 40 million annually in Chateauguay.
