This weekend - July 4th et 5th, the Quebec Marine Association (QMA) invites you join in the province wide Nautical Fest.
It's an annual nautical related celebration which will be held on waterways throughout Quebec - Including the Saint-Lawrence River, and the many lakes and rivers around the province.
More than 100 water related businesses and other entities like marinas, ports of call and water sports clubs and nautical schools, will be offering free water related activities this weekend.
This 4th edition in Quebec,aims to promote and showcase Quebec maritime history and heritage, with this year showcasing the majestic St. Lawrence River and its tributaries.
Founded in 1996, the QMA focuses on the advancement of pleasure boating. With its programs Quebec Nautical Stations, Eco-Marinas, Marina Rating and Boating Safety, has become a must for nautical tourism, sustainable development and safety awareness.
Chateauguay will be participating via it's Nautical Center, please refer to the assiciation's website and schedule for Montérégie and surrounding area information.
Chateauguay's link seems to suggest that their habitual rentals and watercraft fee schedule will remain in place for the duration of the event.
If you are holder of a Chateauguay "Passeport-loisir" you can pay a reduced hourly rental.
