Sun Youth Organization is proud to announce the return of its annual bike giveaway program. The bicycles will be distributed to chosen youths whose actions have had a positive impact on their community - or to young people who will have shown extraordinary courage when facing exceptional circumstances.
Sun Youth officials confirmed to the ChateauguayCitizen.com today that ALL youths are indeed eligible. No matter where they live.
So,Yes - if you know of a deserving youth anywhere - even if in Chateauguay, Kahnawake and other communities, go ahead and contact Sun Youth for submission of their information.
If you know of a young person who deserves to be rewarded with a new bike, a safety helmet and a lock- Here’s how to proceed.
Send Sun Youth the following information:
the name of the young person, age, a little family background, and what that young person did that merits a new bike. They will also need your name and telephone number so that they may contact you for further information. Please send all submissions to: Sun Youth - Selection Committee for the Bicycle Giveaway, 4251, St. Urbain, Montreal, QC., H2W 1V6, or by fax: (514) 842-5241 or email: bicyclettebike@sunyouthorg.com. The guidelines to use for an application can also be found here. Names of candidates can be submitted no later than March 31, 2013 and no candidacy will be considered passed that date.
