Vaccination is free for the following:
seniors age 60 and older;
children 6 to 23 months;
people with chronic disease (including those with significant obesity);
healthy pregnant women at 2 e 3 or e trimester of pregnancy;
any person (including children) living or taking care of those in the categories mentioned above;
people who care for children aged 0 to 6 months;
the health workers.
If you’re one of the customers can receive free vaccine, you can introduce yourself to the vaccination site of your choice.
Vaccine against pneumonia
To get vaccinated against pneumonia, you must contact your CLSC.Eligibility
The vaccine against pneumonia is being offered free of charge:
all aged 65 or older;
people of all ages with chronic disease such as diabetes, chronic heart disease, chronic lung disease (excluding asthma), cancer, kidney disease, blood disease, HIV and immune deficiency.
The vaccine is usually given once and for life protection.
