A low pressure system from Ontario is affecting Southwestern Quebec with rain heavy at times and rather cool weather. These conditions will move slowly toward centre of the province today. 50 to 90 millimetres of rain are expected until Thursday for areas along the St Lawrence between Montréal and Charlevoix, with the most significant amounts over the Laurentians foothills.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
